Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-08-26
These terms govern use of the Authryn car rental management platform by rental companies and their employees.
Who may use Authryn
Accounts are created by Authryn for a rental company and by that company's administrators for its employees. There is no public signup. Each employee account belongs to one company and may only access that company's records.
Your data belongs to your company
Vehicles, customers, rentals, photos, documents and agreements you record are your company's data. We store and process them so the platform can work, and we do not sell them or use them to build products for other companies.
What the platform guarantees
A finalized agreement is stored with a SHA-256 fingerprint of its exact contents, and the database refuses changes to agreed terms afterwards. This is tamper evidence, not a digital signature. The binding signature is the handwritten one on the printed agreement.
Identity verification
Phone verification confirms that someone had access to the number at that moment. Verifying identity documents is the responsibility of the employee handling the rental, and the platform records who performed that check and when.
Availability and correctness
We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Printable blank agreement forms are provided so a rental can continue on paper during an outage and be recorded afterwards.
Ending an account
A company may stop using the service at any time and request an export of its data. Deactivating an employee revokes their access immediately while preserving the historical record of what they did.
